Veterinary Surgeons

The Health Services Commissioner handles complaints about veterinary practitioners in the ACT.

A complaint about a veterinary practitioner in the ACT can be made to the Health Services Commissioner or to the ACT Veterinary Practitioners Board. All complaints about veterinary practitioners are considered jointly by the Health Services Commissioner and the ACT Veterinary Surgeons Board. The Commission is able to assist the parties to the complaint to try to resolve the complaint through conciliation. For information about the conciliation process see our conciliation FAQ page.

More information is available on the ACT Veterinary Practitioners Board website.
