Seminar to explore how human rights can fix critical challenges

26 March 2026

We’re excited to announce a new FREE event we’re presenting in partnership with the Australian Human Rights Commission this April.

The Answer is Human Rights seminar will be held on Wednesday 29 April, 6pm – 7:30pm at Louie Louie (Verity Lane), 50 Northbourne Ave.

Join us as we unpack how human rights can help us address issues such as inequality, justice, social cohesion and more.

The seminar panel includes a line-up of local and national human rights advocates with AHRC President Hugh de Kretser; AHRC Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner Katie Kiss; ACT Human Rights Commission President/Human Rights Commissioner Dr Penelope Mathew; and Canberra Rape Crisis Centre Nguru Support Program Manager Paula McGrady.
